Today's kids face a different world than the one their parents faced. Family life is different. Parents and children seem to spend less time together and have more distractions. But family values have never been more important . . . and neither has open communication. Children need to know the facts about drinking, and they need to benefit from your experience. They need to know how to apply your values - and theirs - to the choices they will face.

Family Talk About Drinking is designed to encourage communication between parents and children about this difficult subject. Many parents don't realize that the best time to have conversations with their children about drinking is between the ages of nine and 11.
